Alfredo de Guzman Libunao, Jr. who is the President and General Manager of AGL Heights Realty and Development Corporation is involved in various business ownership and management.
The man who is now on his mid-30’s is a son of a business couple Alfredo Libunao, Sr. and Amparo de Guzman who just celebrated their 50th golden anniversary this year.
The old Libunao and wife Amparo used to manage and owned a grocery store in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija in which the young Libunao learned the basics of managing a business.
The duo taught their kids the value of hardwork and respect to God Almighty. As a result, Mr. and Mrs. Libunao’s offsprings are now doing history in the business field. Alfredo, for his part, has managed a trucking business, a chain of drugstores and a travel agency.
In 1995, Mr. Libunao, Jr. decided to venture in real estate development as the business trend then was gradually shifting in this area. He purchased a tract of land in Kalikud Sur, Cabanatuan City and thought of developing the property into a residential subdivision.
Such idea and effort has resulted to the rise of AGL Heights Phases I and II that are located both in Cabanatuan City in which the beneficiaries are now living peacefully and progressively.
His success in spearheading the construction of the AGL Heights I and II, for the Pag-Ibig Fund and Government Service Insurance (GSIS) members had inspired him to move forward in his real estate development business. In February 1998, he acquired another parcels of land with a total area of more or less 18 hectares in Barangay Nancayasan considered as one of the business and commercial areas in the newly chartered and booming City of Urdaneta.
Just like the other housing project his company had developed in his home province Nueva Ecija, the location of the AGL Heights _GSIS City in Pangasinan is within the center of livestock trading in the county and the main business point in Northern Luzon. They are basically located in districts where commercial/business establishments, schools, government offices among others are just a few minutes away.
From the period until today, the corporation grew tremendously and it will still continue to prosper because aside from its on-going flagship project of AGL Heights-GSIS City in the City of Urdaneta, the AGL company is scheduled to build several subdivisions in some cities and provinces in Regions I, II and III.
The hardworking Alfredo G. Libunao, Jr. also known as “Jojo”, would be busy again after GSIS CITY completion, as he is set to head the construction of AGL Heights Subdivisions, particularly in San Jose City, Tarlac City, and La Union, Ilocos Norte and Cagayan provinces simultaneously.
